In July, First Bridge hosts the annual Petal Family Health and Resource Fair at Petal First Baptist Church. We partner with Petal Excel by 5, The Coleman Center for Families and Children, and the Petal School District to host this event every year. The fair is an opportunity for children and families to gather information about community efforts and to receive necessary and free resources before the start of the new school year.

Families will have access to the following:
  • Petal uniforms, undergarments, new shoes, and backpacks
  • Vision, Speech, and Hearing Screenings
  • Haircuts and Manicures
  • ​Information about multiple community organizations and their services
  • And MORE!

Families will need to provide proof of residency on the day of the Health and Resource Fair. We encourage families to register before the event.

The Petal Family Health and Resource Fair is our biggest event of the year, and it would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers! We have many areas for volunteers to serve during the event.

*Volunteer guides are required to attend a training before the Petal Family Health and Resource Fair.*
